We are delighted to announce that Merlin Pharmacy’s very own, Seamus Ruane has been named All-Star Pharmacist of the Year 2024 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation. 

Seamus’s journey has been shaped by a profound understanding of the direct impact lifestyle choices can have on an individual’s health. Through years of hands-on experience, he has witnessed both the positive and negative effects, driving him to advocate for transformative power rooted in simple, consistent lifestyle changes.

Reacting to the news of his achievement, Seamus Ruane said:  

“I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive the All-Star Pharmacist of the Year 2024 accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation. This recognition means a great deal to me personally and professionally, and I would like to express my gratitude to the foundation for this esteemed acknowledgment. I am grateful for the support of my team, colleagues, and the local community, whose commitment to well-being has been a driving force behind this recognition.”

Announcing the news of Seamus Ruane’s achievement, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring, said:

The result of the audit saw Séamus being honoured with Business All-Star Pharmacist Of The Year 2024 accreditation. Séamus advocates for the transformative power of simple, consistent lifestyle changes to improve overall well-being which resonates with everyone at the All-Ireland Business Foundation.”

Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna, said: The accreditation, which is now held by over 650 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.

He said: “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
