High blood pressure increases your risk for serious health problems, including stroke and heart attack. Blood pressure is a measure of how hard your blood pushes against the walls of your arteries when your heart pumps blood around your body.

This service allows you to get a quick snapshot measurement of your blood pressure levels which can provide an indication of your heart health and assess if there is an imminent risk due to high blood pressure.
After we measure your blood pressure levels, our pharmacist will advise you how to reduce your blood pressure and whether you need to visit your GP for further care if necessary.
How Often Should I Get My Blood Pressure Checked?
It’s recommended that all adults over 40 years of age have their blood pressure tested at least once every five years so that any potential problems can be detected early.
If you’ve already been diagnosed with high or low blood pressure, or you’re at a particularly high risk of heart problems, you should get your blood pressure tested more frequently.
